Clinical Research Department

Carolina Health Specialists Clinical Research Department is a multi-specialty research department that conducts Phase II, III, and IV trials. We are dedicated to providing patients the opportunity to participate in clinical trials with up-to-date treatments, many of which offer new medications to treat a variety of conditions.

Boehringer Ingerheim- BI1245.72- EASE 3: 
A Phase 3, randomized, double blind, placebo-controlled, parallel group, efficacy, safety and tolerability trial of one daily, oral dosed of Emagliflozin as Adjunctive to Insulin Therapy over 26-weeks in patients with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus. (CLOSED TO SCREENING)
